deadgood rugs, thoughtfully made.

Sustainability isn't a slogan, it's woven into the very core of our business. It’s a quiet decision made at every step of the process. How we design, how we make and what we choose to put out into the world.
We’ve taken a moment to reflect on what sustainability really means in the way we make our rugs.

Each rug begins with a custom brief. That means no stockpiling, no overproduction, just one piece, made to order, made to fit. You choose the size, shape, colours and layout. We create a rug that belongs to the project it’s built for. Not a warehouse.

Our print-on-demand process helps eliminate surplus and offcuts. It’s efficient by design, supporting circular thinking without compromising on creative freedom.

Behind the scenes, our manufacturing partners are making equally careful choices. They clean and reuse 90% of the water used in production, returning it to potable quality.

We care about what our products bring into the spaces they occupy, which is why every deadgood rug meets Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold standards and BREEAM compliance—so designers can specify with peace of mind, and with verified Life Cycle Analysis, be confident that our rugs are living up to those green intentions.

Chromojet printing targets only the fibres that need colouring, cutting dye and water consumption to a minimum. Every step is shaped by ISO 50001-certified energy management, ensuring a lower carbon footprint across the board.

The primary material we use is polyamide. It’s lighter than wool, carries a lower embodied impact and performs exceptionally over time.

That longevity is key, because the most sustainable product is the one that stays in service, not seasonally replaced, but reliably in use, year after year. Made properly, with purpose and as little waste as possible.
