Our new 'Sprung' chair is packed with personality and boasts an honest aesthetic with nothing hidden or disguised. Every functional fixing and fitting is on show and the removable covers and detachable components are designed to encourage refurbishment or recycling at the end of the product's lifetime. 'Sprung' is suitable for a wide range of commercial applications, both indoors and out.
Dan Ziglam, deadgood co-founder & director comments;
“We have really tried to address the principles of designing for a circular economy and consider more deeply what happens to our products at the end of their life cycle. We already make over ninety per cent of our entire product range right here in the UK and although we still have further to go, eighty one per cent recycled content is a big step in the right direction.”
A refined colour selection of sixteen cover shades are available from the new Oceanic range by Camira, a fabric born of the SEAQUAL initiative and created entirely from post consumer recycled plastic. The recycled steel frame is finished with our Get Wasted powder coat finish, created entirely from recycled paint powders that were otherwise destined for landfill.
We’re here for a good time, not a long time. That said, we believe our collections should stand the test of time, which is why we’ve developed a new generation of circular products, designed to be more considerate, intelligent and deadgood in every sense.
