The trees we're planting will be a native and biodiverse mix of species in planting sites around the world. The planting projects we're investing in help to support local communities and reduce poverty by employing local workers. We've also chosen to support projects that invest in renewable energy, shifting the focus away from fossil fuels.

These projects are verified by the Gold Standard which was established in 2003 by WWF and other international NGOs to ensure projects that reduced carbon emissions featured the highest levels of environmental integrity and also directly contribute to sustainable development.
