Sales & Marketing Support

The Role:

The primary role is to offer administrative support to the sales, operations and marketing departments, which includes the Directors. You will assume responsibility for sales support and day to day management of the London showroom, as well as taking responsibility for the customer service process.

Responsibilities to include (not exclusive)

Sales Support & Showroom Management:

  • Greeting guests as they arrive within the showroom
  • Assisting with the organisation of showroom events
  • Working with the sales team to produce quotations for dealers, D+B and A+D
  • Dealing with image & CAD requests - dealers and designers
  • Managing brochure and finish samples (fabric, leather and hard copies)
  • Showroom cover when the sales team are out or in meetings
  • Maintaining marketing brochure's, PDFs, images, certifications & CAD files online
  • Managing loan and sample requests, maintaining up to date information on delivery and location of samples
  • Following up on selected leads generated through website, direct mail and showroom visits to ensure all sales potentials are realised

Customer Service:

  • Confirming order details with customers prior to production
  • Maintaining a good dialogue with customers in order to achieve delivery expectations
  • Following up on all deliveries to make sure clients are happy and goods have been delivered as required

General Administration:

  • Answering the phone and directing enquiries accordingly
  • Purchasing stationery, packaging materials & supplies
  • Ad hoc administration duties as required

Skill, Experience & Attributes Required:

  • An ambitious and well-presented individual with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - clear and accurate spoken and written English
  • Confident people skills, able to build a rapport remotely
  • Proven ability to plan, manage and execute multiple tasks and projects
  • Previous sales support experience advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and to improve existing processes
  • Helpful, supportive team working approach
  • Able to analyse and solve problems constructively
  • An understanding of SAGE50 would be prefferable although not essential
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills

Package:

  • 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday
  • 20k- 22K (depending on experience)
  • Permanent contract with a three month probation

Deadgood Internships

Design and Production - London

We're looking for highly motivated, well presented and talented individuals to assist in the daily running of our very busy London studio! You will be working on various projects including the design and development of new and existing products, marketing and preparation for up and coming exhibitions.

Applicants should have:

  • A high degree of presentation and a good ability to communicate ideas.
  • A good knowledge of materials, processes and the supply chain would be beneficial.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and either Solidworks or Rhino. We welcome other CAD software users, however you would need to bring your own laptop in to work from.
  • Good knowledge of technical drawings.
  • The ability to work as part of a team (and also have fun!)

Branding - London or Newcastle

We're looking for highly motivated, well presented and talented individuals to assist in the upkeep and development of our marketing department. You will be working on various projects including the design and managment of print and digital media, development of brand guidelines, managing the asset library, website and social media upkeep, marketing and preparation and assistance for up and coming exhibitions.

Applicants should have:

  • A high degree of presentation and a good ability to communicate ideas.
  • A good knowledge of current digital design trends
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). You will be required to bring your own laptop in to work from.
  • The ability to work as part of a team (and also have fun!)

Interior/Set Design

We're looking for passionate and talented individuals to assist in working with the design team to develop our spacial projects. You will be keeping up to date and researching visual and product trends. Physical projects will include various briefs such as developing our exhibition spaces and styling set design. Additionally you will be assisting the sales and marketing team and working on live projects to develop visuals for clients.

Applicants should have:

  • A high degree of presentation and a good ability to communicate ideas.
  • A good eye for visual trends, research and moodboarding.
  • Excellent CAD knowledge and rendering skills. (Rhino and Sketchup preferable but other softwares welcome)
  • A good knowledge of Adobe CS Suite (including Photoshop and InDesign). You will be required to bring your own laptop in to work from.
  • The ability to work as part of a team (and also have fun!)

PR/Sales

We're looking for passionate and talented individuals to work with the marketing and sales teams to assist with the daily running of our brand. As a split role, you will be working with the director to develop PR strategies and documents as well talking directly to media. You will also help with social media and work with the design team to communicate requirements. Additionally you will be assisting with the sales department with our current client base.

Applicants should have:

  • An up to date knowledge of media trends and an awareness of some of the biggest platforms.
  • An ability to research and concept media strategies.
  • A good knowledge of Adobe InDesign. You will be required to bring your own laptop in to work from.
  • Good administrative and communication skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team (and also have fun!)

Internships last for 3-6 month periods depending on availability, workload and suitability to the roles. The position is unpaid, however we do offer an allowance for Oyster Card Travel in Central London and lunch.
