We recently launched a brand new collection of furniture, lighting and interior products at Design Junction during the London Design Festival.
Our new collection includes ‘Setter’, a range of dining chairs designed by David Irwin and ‘Marra’, a collection of occasional tables designed by SmithMatthias. These were presented alongside additions to the ‘Tree Collection’ by John Tree and new finishes to some familiar favourites including our Spun Lights, Capsule Sofas and Working Girl Collection.
The stars of the show were our new ‘Pop Rugs’ designed in house, which were picked up by Dezeen ‘the world’s most influential architecture, interiors and design magazine’ as one of the ‘Eight best new furniture and lighting designs from this year’s London Design Festival’.
‘Marra’ by SmithMattias
A simple yet distinctive range of occasional tables, produced in plywood with an Ash veneer and finished with either clear lacquer or a light colour wash. Visible notches to the underside of the table provide both an effective method of assembly and also a subtle yet somewhat familiar point of reference. This sentiment is further enhanced through the choice of name, with ‘Marra’ being a translation from the Northern slang word for friend.
‘Setter’ by David Irwin
A new range of dining chairs produced in a lacquered timber with the possibilities of a ‘hard’ or ‘soft’ seat and back rest. The frame boasts a simple cross brace construction, designed for its durability in both a meeting or hospitality setting. Compound angles to the rear provide some subtle Mid-Century inspired detailing, whilst the curve on the back rest doubles up as an arm rest, the profile of which bears reference to that of a dogs head. An off the wall reference and inspiration for the name ‘Setter’.
‘Tall Tree Table’ by John Tree
An addition to the ‘Tree Collection’, universal in terms of application however the addition of ‘Tall Tree Table’ offers more versatility to the range, making the Collection have extra appeal to an agile meeting setting within a creative workplace environment.
‘Pop Rugs’ by Deadgood Studio
A new addition to our collection of accessories, hand tufted from 100% New Zealand lambs wool and available in three styles ‘Zzzap’, ‘Dotty’ and ‘Wiggle’.
‘Spun Lights’ are inspired by the raw attributes of industrial spinning processes. Manufactured out of spun aluminium and available in three sizes, these simple pendant lights have been re-launched with contrasting interior and exterior powder coated colour ways. The lights are supplied with braided flex, lamp holder and an energy efficient compact fluorescent bulb. These decorative fittings have found their way into a variety of hospitality, residential and workplace projects.
